So, who all remembers the most amazing get-out-of-school day titled Take Your Daughter To Work Day? I do!
Growing up, this epic day was all about being included in another aspect of my mother’s life. Seeing her in her work environment and becoming a part of that was a huge deal for me. I loved witnessing the daily tasks of a working office. Over the years I spent these days in my mom’s office filing paperwork, making copies, running the mail and fulfilling any other errands that were sent my way. At the time it was merely just a day that I got to spend shadowing my mom at work. Now looking back, it is so much more.
Yesterday, my little peanut followed me to LB and I put her on the grind straight away. And by grind I mean laying out a blanket and allowing her to play with toys. Just wait my child, that’ll change as the years go by. I did allow her to assist me in some web work. Here she is schooling me in her photoshop skills:

Bookkeeping, taking phone calls and photoshop. All in a day’s work.

Hard at work editing.
She is also schooling me in the ways of fashion. Mixing prints at the ripe age of six months!
