Last summer a lady and her son stopped in for some afternoon shopping. Her son, he was probably around five or six, was not in the mood for shopping. Especially when it came to his mother looking at clothes. Kat and I both have this thing that whenever kids come in the store we instantly become child entertainers. Literally. For example, Kat once held and played with a baby so mom could shop. What can I say, we both thoroughly enjoy the kiddos.
Anyway, back to this little boy. I asked him what he wanted to do that day and his eyes instantly lit up and said he wanted to visit the clock store. Yes, that’s right. This kid was obsessed with clocks. He then preceded to ask me if he could show me his favorite clock website. I said sure–mom was in the dressing room. He sat down, put our computer on his lap and acted as if he was going to type in a website. Well, he must have remembered he didn’t really know how to spell so he asked me to do it. I did.
Once we arrived at the clock website he became a master of all things internet and clock related. He was clicking all over the place until he found his favorite page. What was his favorite page you ask? Oh you know, the one where you can test out clock chimes. We sat and listened to the same clock chimes over and over. While this was happening his mom was having a laughing fit in the dressing room. She knew her kid was a total riot. As they were leaving he told me, “Now, you can play these chimes ALL day for customers, okay? I’ll come back and ask you what everyone’s favorite was!”
Two other ladies in the store heard this transpire. Although the little boy didn’t come back that day the other two ladies did. Later in the afternoon they popped their heads and totally busted me for not continuing playing the clock chimes. I guess you could say Kat and I are now making up for it by stuffing the store full of clock related necklaces!

The Crystal Clock necklace reminds me of Katherine. Ever since opening the store she has fallen head over heels for long necklaces. I can see her rocking this in a simple tee and her ballsack pants. Perhaps even a head scarf to keep her curls under control? The best part about this guy is that you can see the gears. I have a feeling the little boy from last summer would have given this necklace an A.
This bugger has become my absolute favorite necklace that we currently have in stock. I’ve always leaned more towards long necklaces but lately I have been embracing bib style necklaces. I recently wore this with for the Rizzo/James Dean shoot and felt amazing. Recent dreams of mine are pushing me to pair it with the Marie Shirt too! Hmm, alrighty!
Tick Tock,
Jenna
