And the birthday celebrations never end! This morning, we helped celebrate our amazing friend Vicky’s birthday with a breakfast party. Fun times are had with this gal and the rest of our hen group…and this party was no exception. Unfortunately, we were missing a synchronized library dance and the best 80′s male trio: Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson and Anthony Michael Hall. They were all busy. Sigh.
KAT: True to form, Kat’s outfit is all about comfort–and being covered in head-to-toe Fluxus. Then again, who isn’t? One has to be when eating a hearty breakfast of buttermilk pancakes and crispy hash browns. Yum!
When Kat showed up this morning in her favorite pants, all I could think was, ‘really? the ballsack pants for outfit-of-the-day?’ I know, I know they are called harem pants. However, in my defense they do get a little ballsack like, right? Thanks for agreeing. Kat had been dreaming about pairing them with the ultimate comfort top. At first glance I thought it would drown her out. For the first time ever: I. was. wrong. I said it. She looked amazeballs (fitting adjective for this post). Add on a little piece of New York and she owned her pancake breakfast!
JENNA: Wake up time: 7:00am. Yoga: 7:10am. Estimated Departure time: 8:00am. Did I make it? For the first ever, I did! Claps and snaps for me! Every morning I always feel as if I am rushing out the door the last minute. I usually have to yell downstairs to ask Erik to whip me up some on-the-go toast. Not the case today. I totally beat Kat to birthday breakfast. Yes!
Kat and I planned on doing an outfit of the day post after Vicky’s bubbly birthday breakfast, so I knew I had to be extra spruced up. I’ve been brainstorming on how I can wear this little muffin (I had an english muffin sammy for breakfast) for a few weeks. My recent window change inspired me to do a test run. Rather than mixing prints, I decided to layer polka dots on more polka dots for this fantasical morning. Just call me Miss Dottie!
Many birthday wishes to the dearest, Vicky!
